

FitQueen Protein Bagels with Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. In a bowl mix the self raising flour, wholemeal spelt flour, protein powder and Baking Powder.
3. Then add the yogurt, mix in the yogurt until a dough starts to form. Start with a spoon then use your hands to make sure your dough grabs everything in the bowl.
4. Lightly dust a clean worktop with flour, place the dough on top of the worktop and start kneading the dough for about 2 - 3 mins.
5. Cut the dough into four equal squares.
6. Roll each square out into 4 seperate long sausage shapes rolls, then bring the ends of each roll together and pinch to connect both ends of the dough forming a bagel.
7. Place the parchment paper on a flat baking tray, and place all for bagels on the tray.
8. Spray each bagel lightly with One Cal Spray, then place it into the oven.
9. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes, until they start to turn a golden colour.
10. Let the bagels cool down before cutting them in half.
11. Once they are not too hot to touch, take a bread knife and slice the bagels in half.
12. Spread the Cream Cheese onto one half of the bagel, then add the Smoked Salmon on top of the Cream Cheese.
13. Squeeze the Lemon over the Salmon, then season with black pepper.
14. Place the other half on top and enjoy 🙂

85g Self Raising Flour
85g Wholemeal Spelt Flour
25g Unflavoured Protein Powder
230g 0% Total Greek Yogurt
1 TSP Baking Powder
2 Pinches of Salt
20g Low Fat Cream Cheese
60g Smoked Salmon
Squeeze of ¼ Lemon
Pepper to season
