Slow Cooker Rice Pudding

Per Serving with Honey: 185kcal P: 4g C: 38g F: 3 Kcals Per Serving with Vanilla Protein Powder: 220kcal P: 24 C: 22 F: 4

Method

1. Bring the Almond milk to simmer and add the rice and stir.

2. With the TSP of butter coat the base and sides (half way up) of the slower cooker.

3. Pour in the Almond Milk & Rice.

4. Add the spices and grate the Orange.

5. Stir the spices and Orange Zest in with the almond milk and rice.

6. Place the cover on top of the slow cooker and cook on a low heat for 4 hours. 

7. Check on the rice once or twice and give it a stir. If you find that the rice is sticking add a splash of water to loosen it up.

8. Once the rice is cooked, scoop into a bowl and stir in the 25g protein powder, pour in the extra Almond Milk (16g) if it looks stiff/dry.

9. Serve with some orange segments & raisins on top.

**If you are not having protein powder, scoop the rice into a bowl and drizzle the honey on top & decorate with the Orange segments & raisins. If the rice looks stiff/dry pour in 16g Almond Milk**

200g Brown Rice 

1ltr Alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk

1 TSP Butter 

100ml Unsweetened Almond Milk (Once Cooked, 16g per person)

1 TSP Cinnamon 

1 TSP Nutmeg

1 TSP Mixed Spice

1 Orange (Zest & Segments)

60g Raisins (10g Per Person)

25g Vanilla Protein Powder (If not having honey)

1 TBSP Honey Per Person (If not having protein powder)
