Easter Special – Mini Hot Cross Buns

Method

What you need:

1 Large Bowl

Non stick Parchment Paper

1 Spoon to mix ingredients

1 Paint Brush (art brush) for the Cross

1. Preheat oven to 120C 

2. Put all the ingredients in the bowl except the Coconut Flour

3. Mix together thoroughly

4. Then using your hands, roll the ingredients into 12 balls

5. Place them onto the Parchment Paper 

6. Mix the Coconut Flour with water in a bowl (add a tsp of water at a time until this forms a paste), then paint the Cross’s on top of the balls

7. Bake in the oven for 15 mins, then let cool

Ingredients

200g Ground Almonds 

40g Coconut Oil

2 ½ tbsp Agave Syrup 

2 Eggs

40g raisins

1 tbsp Chia Seeds

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Nutmeg

1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda

Zest of 2 Clementines

For The Cross:

1 tbsp Coconut Flour
