Ginger Chicken & Green Bean Noodles

Method

1. Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat and stir-fry the chicken for 5 mins. 

2. Add the green beans and stir-fry for 4-5 mins. 

3. Stir in the fresh ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for 2 mins.

4. Then add the stem ginger and syrup, then the cornflour mix, soy sauce and vinegar. 

5. Stir-fry for 1 min.

6. Drain the noodles and rinse under cold water

7. Then add in the noodles to the wok. 

8. Cook for another 3 minutes 

9. Serve your noodles in a bowl.

10. Then drizzle the TBSP Soy Sauce over the noodles.

Ingredients

½ TBSP Olive Oil

300g Chicken (cut into strips)

200g Green Beans 

Thumb-sized piece of Ginger (peeled and cut into matchsticks)

2 Garlic Cloves (sliced long ways)

1 TSP Stem Ginger (I bought sliced & 1 TSP syrup from the jar)

1 TSP Cornflour (mixed with 1 TBSP water)

1 TSP Dark Soy Sauce 

1 TBSP Dark Soy Sauce (to drizzle over once served in a bowl)

2 TSP Rice Vinegar

300g Barenaked Noodles (125g per person)
