

Lunch Time Dippy Eggs

Method
1. Pre heat the grill for the bacon.
2. Place a pan on the hob, with COLD water and add the eggs into the water, cook for 12 minutes. The cold water prevents the eggs from cracking, depending how soft you like your eggs, the cooking time will vary.
3. Place the bacon into the grill (when the eggs have been cooking for 3 minutes) and then cook for 7 minutes or as instructed on the packets (turn half way through).
4. Cut the cucumber and carrots into thick matchsticks.
5. Place the pitta bread in the toaster, and toast to your desired texture.
6. Take out the pitta bread and cut into strips.
7. Drain the eggs, and take out the bacon.
8. Using a knife, chop the tops of the eggs off.
9. Season the egg with salt and black pepper.
10. Serve straight away.

2 Medium Eggs
30g Wholemeal Pitta
70g Cucumber
100g Small Carrot
2 Bacon Medallions
