Marinated Steak, Crushed New Potatoes & Salad

Method

1. Bring a pan of water to boil, and add the new potatoes. Boil until soft.

2. Drain the potatoes and set aside. 

3. Place a griddle pan onto the stove on high heat, let the pan get REALLY hot.

4. Add the potatoes to the griddle pan, with a spatula flatten the potato or till the split. 

5. Cook for 5 minutes in the center of the griddle.

6. Move the potatoes to the side of the griddle and add the steak.

7. Cook the steak to your desired texture (you can cut into strips to quicken the process).

8. Remove the griddle pan off the heat and set aside.

9. Place the salad on the plate, followed by the new potatoes (add the butter) & steak.

10. Pour the jus from the pan onto the steak & potatoes and enjoy.

140g Jersey Royal New Potatoes

1 Cup Shredded Green Salad Leaves

5 Cherry Tomatoes

20g Cucumber

7g Butter (for potatoes)
