Tomato And Basil Penne

Method
1. Boil a pan of water and cook the penne as directed, drain and place to one side.
2. Place a pan on the hob on a medium heat. Pour in the olive oil.
3. Add the onion to the pan and cook for 3 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
5. Cook the sauce for 2 minutes then add the cooked penne and cook on the heat for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
6. Remove from the heat and stir through the basil.

10ml Olive Oil
Half A Red Onion Diced
2 Cloves Garlic Sliced
1 Tin (400g) Chopped Tomatoes
1tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
150g Green Lentil Penne (We Used Explore Cuisine Brand)
Handful Of Basil Finely Chopped
Salt And Pepper
